Experience

SAP America
- Palo Alto, CA, United States -
Business Enterprise Principal | SAP S/4HANA Product Expert
I was hired by SAP America to join the Global Supply Chain Team, specialising in Transportation Management, but was quickly selected to be part of the much-coveted SAP S/4HANA Regional Implementation Group (RIG). This is a group made up of approximately 40 experts worldwide. Our role and mission is to help SAP customers in their digital transformation projects and see them being successful in the adoption of SAP’s latest and greatest technology, SAP S/4HANA. To that effect, each RIG member is very intimately involved in at least 3 SAP S/4HANA implementations at any point in time. The RIG is an extension of SAP’s development organisation, and as such its members have a direct line to the developers. Another role of the RIG is one of education to make sure that SAP and its partners can scale and we therefore share our knowledge with the wider community. Since joining the RIG, my commitment and enthusiasm have been rewarded by inviting me to join the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Task force.

Linfox Logistics Australia
- Melbourne, VIC, Australia -
Architecture & Strategy – Transportation Management Enterprise & Solutions Architect
A practitioner of the SAP Transportation Management product since version 8.0, I have during my time at Linfox further deepened my technical and functional knowledge in all aspects of the TM product suite (including key satellite products such as Event Management and the SCM Optimiser). This knowledge has been gained through a series of CUV projects (on TM9.0 & TM9.1) as well as actual implementations based on TM release, version 9.0 & 9.1, a world first.
Architected several SAP Transportation Management implementations. This included a high profile implementation for the Australian Defence forces, accomplished in just 19 weeks.
Conceived the Enterprise Architecture (executed using the TOGAF architecture Framework) and maintained the rolling 3 year Enterprise Roadmap for Transportation Management.
Validated within the context of a CUV (Customer Validation Program) the integration of SAP TM – SAP ERP – SAP EWM and its application to the Linfox Business processes.
I built an hybrid HTML5 app that showcased, as a proof of concept the integration between SAP TM, EM and a mobile device. Further details of my thought process can be followed here – http://www.pascalrenet.com/2013/01/28/mobility-in-transportation-management/
I built an IOS app aimed at bringing ‘knowledge management on device’ – a tool aimed at making key business process and SAP TM information available on a mobile device, whilst disconnected from the office.

Ego Pharmaceuticals
- Melbourne, VIC, Australia -
Solutions Architect – Winner SAP Customer Award of Excellence
My role was to help EGO better leverage the investment they had made in the SAP solution set. During my tenure my key undertakings were:
Reduce if not eradicate out of stock situations by re-designing the entire forecast planning and demand monitoring process, with special considerations for stocks held at International locations. To support the new process I implemented the SAP flexible planning tools as well as a custom built web portal to enhance the user experience and increase user engagement.
Help Ego determine the KPI’s and data sources that would help it monitor performance and progress. To do this I set up SAP queries and custom web reporting to report on vendor DIFOT, forecast accuracy and production to plan adherence.
Help Ego embrace the next curve of innovation by developing mobile phone apps that give access to product master data to mobile sales people (proof of concept). These were device agnostic developments made using the phone gap framework to wrap html5 web apps.
Responsible for the design and implementation of the entire “produce to plan” activities in a process production (PP-PI) environment that has to conform to auditable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practises) and TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) requirements.

What people say about Pascal
Source: Linkedin.com & Personal
Pascal is a passionate SAP evangelist. He demonstrated multiple times a hands on approach to configuring, building and demonstrating capability of SAP. He is highly experienced in extracting the best workflow via configuration in SAP, as well as identifying areas of improvement that could be discussed with developers (be it Core SAP or Custom extensions).
In regards to his presentation skills, I have not seen anyone better in graphically presenting a process flow that is easily understood by lay people. His hobbies of photography and Photoshop modification were handy a number of times. Years on quite a few people still use his graphics and slides to convey the same message he delivered. Why improve on perfection?
Pascal is honest, dedicated and intelligent. Many times he has shown a capability to deliver a suitable solution.
Robert Goulding, Transport Systems Manager, Linfox Logistics
In the time that Pascal worked for Atos Origin, he demonstrated an in depth understanding of all the facets of supply chain logistics as well as a very deep knowledge of SAP, both from a technical and functional point of view. It seemed that Pascal was always able to provide well thought out solutions or to give useful recommendations – so much so that he was nicknamed ‘the swiss knife of SAP projects’. Pascal is clearly someone that has the ability to think outside the box and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

He is professional, knowledgeable, resourceful and demands of himself the highest standards in everything he undertakes from the most straight forward task to developing full solutions for the challenges his clients face.
